This is so so sad, news within the industry has it that he died from spinal cord infection. sadly this is the second young person i know that have died of spinal cord infection/disease this year. i wish for a medical explanation as to why and how young people are contracting this fetal disease. is it cancerous? Lord help us.

Megalectrics Limited (Operator of Classic FM 97.3) deeply regret to announce the passing of one of our OAP Slyvester Ojigbede popularly known as SLY, host of the ‘Morning Show’ and Saturday morning show ‘Saturday Express’ on our station.
Sly passed away on Sunday the 3rd of May after a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and extended family at this difficult time.
May his soul rest in peace.
He will be deeply missed by all of us.
