It has been reported that, a 23 year old undergraduate student of the Delta state university, Josephine Igbokwe was hacked to death by unidentified gunmen , and vital parts of her body missing. This happened on her way back home when she went to visit her boyfriend Nnamdi Okoli. Her boyfriend who is now a suspect of the crime, is under detention.
It was learned that her boyfriend did not inform her parents early enough about the demise of the girl. But instead, he took her body to the state mortuary, claiming that she died as a result of a brief illness.
