Unical Students Riot Over Poor Social Amenities and Other Reasons

The students of the University of Calabar, are rioting right now in school. The students have shut down the school, letting no one pass through the gates or any other entrances. The reasons for the riot are numerous. Those in the hostels, the malabites and malabress are complaining of poor social amenities like;no electricity,water, and poor toilet system. while some other students are complaining of the school's past Vc. Saying that, he needs to come back to school and clear up the mess he left behind for the new VC. So many other students are blaming the present VC for the increased acceptance fee, which is now N16,000 per student. Students and staffs who came to school have been forced to go to their various homes.
