4 Years Old Boy Trapped in a Body of an Old Man Cause by a Rare Condition.

You probably have seen the movie called the Benjamin featuring Brat pitt where the boy was born old and aged backwards, well that was a movies but here is a true life story of a young boy  name Franco Villavicencia who has a body of a 70yrs old man. read the sad  story of the rare condition as reported by Daily Mail below.
Like many four-year-olds, Franco Villavicencio loves watching cartoons and playing with his siblings. But unlike other boys his age, a rare disease means he has the body of an elderly man.Franco, from Moreno, Argentina, suffers from an ageing disease called progeria, which ages the body at eight times the normal rate. The disorder is said to have inspired the F Scott Fitzgerald novel and Brad Pitt movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in which the character is born an old man and ages backwards.  While he currently loves playing games with his family, he is likely to be robbed of this joy in the upcoming years as while his mind will remain young, his body will age and his health will deteriorate.Progeria patients normally die from heart attacks or strokes at an average age of 13.The disease takes its name from the Greek word 'proeros', meaning prematurely old. It involves a mutant protein called progerin that accelerates physical ageing. There are around 74 known cases of the disease around the world and only four in the UK.Children with this disease look healthy at birth, but during the first year of life begin to show characteristics of the disease, such a slow growth, hair loss and skin aging.A 10 year old progeria child will have the appearance of an octogenarian with symptoms including baldness, arthritis and heart problems, but the mind of a 10 year old.Franco’s story comes after MailOnline reported on the case of Hayley Okines, from Bexhill, who died aged 17 in April. Hayley became well-known three years ago when she was part of a documentary about her premature ageing condition.Though, like Franco, she suffered from progeria, she defied the odds to live four years longer than expected.Hayley and her family had fundraised for her medical treatment and to raise public understanding of the condition. After her death, the Progeria Research Foundation posted a message on Facebook. It said: 'The entire Progeria family mourns together with many as we say goodbye to Hayley Okines, our smart, beautiful and spirited English rose, who passed away today at age 17.‘Gone from our sight, but never our memories, gone from our touch but never our hearts. We will miss you.'
