chronicle of a single mother Vs stingy single guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, i saw this controversial issue as posted by a lady online. what is your take on this? Single mother making uncomfortable request on a first date vs young man who wants to date a lady but not ready to support her and her child.

My opinion, i think the lady was too forward to ask for such financial help on a first date, seem like she is in it more for the money than a companionship which is totally wrong.  that been said, Dude just showed that he has no space or love in his life for that innocent child and he is not ready to support her. how much will babysitting cost? glad she called it off, but she need to take a chill pill on who picks the bill.

smart girls invest before reaping in every relationship...she need a business sense. this also goes to all those girls that like to ask for as little as recharged card, cab fair, saloon fees when just starting off a relationship. have respect for yourself and when its time to ask, ask for big things.

Story of my Life! Mothers in the house please I need help, how do I engage my son this summer holidays?

Guys, am still trying to recover from the shock I experienced yesterday with my soon to be 4years old son. I got back home from work only to be greeted with a story of how my son drank a full bottle of Periton medicine. That was all I heard as I ran toward him with a near panick attack, I asked him if he truly drank the whole bottle? He was looking scared and kept mute until I asked him if it was sweet? To which he replied yes. (Couldn't help snapping a smiling)

While interrogating him, my nanny quickly told me she had already given him some palm oil to drink and that

Special Shout-Out to Linda Ikeji on the report of Lagos bad roads.

You know elders do say give honor to whom honor is due, and today am sending out a special shout-out to Linda Ikeji for using her blog to impacting our community and state positively. Recently she as been posting the deplorable state of the roads in Lagos and across Nigeria. And thank God our Governor, Ambode and his working team are sensitive and quick to respond.

Recently she posted the sad reality of the terrible state of the Okota road and how motorist, business owner and residents are suffering in that area. I was glad to see it on her blog cause I know the Governor and his working team will definately see it and respond. Well am glad to inform you all that they have started work on The road by at least patching up the big pot holes with stones pending when they will fix it properly.

Everyday I get yo work late because of this very road, I spend hour on a journey that won't take up to 5mins drive on a good day. This road is a major rout to so many destination, like festac, Amuwo Odofin, Igundo, Lasu, Isolo, and many others. The traffic situation during rush hour is crazy and the LASTMA officials are sometimes overwhelmed. I think the road should be dualized and a fly-over bridge should be put some where to ease the crisscrossing traffic at the poor roundabout. Sorry I don't have photos to back this up thou.

So, a big Thank You to Linda, May God continue to bless you and your blog for using it as a source to bring light to the darkness we are experiencing daily in this country. Well done to you.

Special shout out to PHCN (Ikeja Distribution)

Hello Guys, how was your weekend? Hope you had time to rest? Unlike me, my weekend was full of events and family activities. You know how the saying goes...Family first! So am sorry for the un-announced absence.

I just want to send out a special Shout-Out to PHCN (Ikeja Distribution) for giving us VIP services over the last one month. It's unbelievable and unusual to have power for at least 20/24 hours in a day in this country Nigeria. Ha! I have never enjoyed light like this since I was born in this country, can you imagine me turning off our fridge and freezer? Even my water dispenser is almost freezing, yes! it's that stable. And am loving every moment of it. Even when they take the light before you 30 minuets on the average, the light is back on. Amazing! Though some people are saying it's because of the rain and the overflowing dame that brought about the increase in Mega Watt, I still think The PHCN authority or the private owner are making an effort to the change their formal status.

To this Aso Rock like, VIP treatment, I say thank you oh PHCN Ikeja Distribution Services for giving us value for our money. For the first time I was glad to pay my bills without feeling cheated and extorted. Kindly keep up the good work.

This is Change!

A Lady who knows what she wants - Honestly speaking by Elizabeth Aluko

Hello to all my single ladies in the house, today am speaking on how Ladies can take charge of their relationship and get your partner to commit officially earlier than his initial plan. Lol, it's a bit tricky but it worked for me.

If you are in a serious relationship or he as even engaged you, but 2-3years going he is still telling you don't worry. Well you should be worried because guys are like toddlers, they can easily change their mind and direction. Ladies, if you expect your boyfriend to use his own free will to come ask your hand in marriage then you are in for a very long ride...men are never ready and they dread making the commitment official. That is not to say they don't really love you or want to you as their life partner.

When I started dating my husband then in 2010, it was like a Nollywood movie because I plotted every move and milestone in our relationship. When we initially started dating,  he wanted to friend-zone me. Can you imagine?

Inspirational Message...Be The Goat.

Before now, when people call you goat, it either means been silly or stubborn. But today been called a Goat means someone who never gives up no matter how hard the situation maybe. Your ability to push forward despite all odds is synonymous with the characteristics of a Goat.

Do you know Goats can climb a mountain so high and slippery and even vertical? its amazing!  Go see documentary on goats then you will be proud when next someone calls you a Goat.

Me the Goat, not giving up on this blog despite a job, husband and two kids. Lmao...So please don't give up on what ever it is you are doing, be the Goat. Good morning guys.... it is TGIF!

12 Signs He is Cheating That Most Women Ignores.

This is interesting, find out if your spouse is cheating. We all know what happened to Toke and Maje, she probably was seeing these signs but ignores it, how to spot a cheating man according to experts.

You’ve been happy with your partner for a while now but something is starting to feel wrong. It’s the last thing you want to believe but you suspect he might be cheating on you. How can you tell for sure without strapping a lie detector to him or hiring a private investigator? Relationship experts and psychologists, including Dr Annie Kaszina PhD, Britain’s top divorce lawyer and President of Vardags, Ayesha Vardag, and The Love Coach, TJ Gibbs, shared some of  the signs you should be looking out for. 1. The usual suspects: lipstick on his collar or clothes, unexpected marks indicative of sexual activity on his body, another woman’s scent on his clothes or hair. Especially if this happens more than once.

Apologies and Appreciation From Elizabeth Aluko

Hello blog fans, I know I owe you guys an explanation and an apology for been absent for so long. Honestly I didn't plan to go blank for this long, remember I told you guys I had this serious Professional exam coming up and I needed some time to study. Well the exam was last weekend and am crossing my fingers on it, and since then It's been one challenge to another.

I was speaking with my sister in law over the weekend and she expressed her feeling over the fact that I don't post frequently and everyday as most blogs and websites, she also said most of her friends that frequent my blog were also complaining. This single source of feedback completely breaks my heart, despite the fact that I haven't posted anything new in the past 2 weeks I still get a lots of visitors daily on my blog from within and outside Nigeria. so I can just imagine how disappointing it most be to visit and not see any new post or updates. Sigh!

I want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has ever visited my blog and more to those who keeps coming back to check for update and haven't given up on me completely, You are the reason why I keep struggling to keep this blog alive.

Ladies! Top 16 Sensual Songs That Can Spice Up Your Game By Niko Rose.

Found this interesting post on Balleralert.com and i thought i share with my fellow ladies especially the married ones, been a Friday.*Wink* you know how you wish you can pole dance for your man privately and end up playing some songs that kills your vibe and leave you looking like a clown rather than a sexy cat with the sensual moves...hehehehe... here is a playlist compiled by music junkie Niko Rose @niksofly on IG

This playlist is on fire, i can bet you your man is going to be begging for more private shows after this. don't say am too old or too christened for this sort of action because that is what those young sexy side chics are using to hold the married men down. why do you think they pay so much for it? ask Ex BBA Huddah, Naija Men are paying her in dollars for a private show. so ladies get your sexy lingerie and killer heels on and get that party started. #TGIF.

The title is pretty straight forward. Sooooo let’s not pretend that we [women] haven’t heard a song that caused us to arch our backs and dirty wind. I know I’m not the only one. I’m not saying you have to work at VLive or Stadium (strip club) but if you wanted to do a little something-something for your baller(man)  certain songs are just going to flow better. Nothing messes up the

The Story Behind The Origin of Mothers Day By Anna Jarvis

Happy Mother Sunday to every Mother in the world, God will surely reward every sacrifice you have made. he ll let us also enjoy the fruit of our labour in the lives of our children.

Below is the story behind the origin and public proclamation of Mothers Day by New York Times
Philadelphia activist Anna Jarvis (1864-1948) came up with the idea for “Mother’s Day” at the beginning of the 20th century as a tribute to her mother.
On May 10, 1908, in what is considered the first Mother’s Day celebration, she sent 500 carnations to Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church, her mother’s church in Grafton, W.Va. (which was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1992).The event generated an enormously positive response, and after extensive lobbying and letter-writing efforts, President Woodrow Wilson signed a proclamation on May 9, 1914, declaring the second Sunday of May “a public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country.”

The New York Times reported on May 18, 1923.

Inspirational Quote to Calm Your Anger in Face of Fuel Scarcity, PHCN and Traffic. Good Morning!

The current state of the nation can make you commit felony if  your anger is not properly manage. a lot of people have sad tale to tell about the direct effect of the fuel scarcity on going in Nigeria right now, its so frustrating especially when PHCN do what they do best ( total uninterrupted  blackout) before now you can easy put on your generator or go out to ease the boredom, but how? with What fuel? then this morning you have to get to work (some how, anyhow, employers don't care) with crazy traffic caused by long queues at the gas stations blocking the major routes. this sad. pls FG and  all stakeholders should resolve the issue today we are begging.

here is the quote by Joel Osteen to calm your nerves. Lol.
"Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you"
Joel Osteen
