Student Invented a New Condom That Can Detect STD, Changes ColourAccording to The Infection. Amazing!

A new smart condom has been designed and invented by a group of students, and its innovative design means that it immediately reveals any STD.
The individuals responsible made the product for the TeenTech awards, and they insist that it immediately detects when bacteria or viruses are present. The revelations are color-coordinated, meaning that if it turns green chlamydia is present, while yellow indicates herpes, purple could lead to genital warts, and blue is for syphilis.
The invention is called the S.T.EYE. It has a layer on it that is able to find the molecules associated with the bacteria and viruses that are associated with STIs.
14-year-old Daanyaal Ali, who is part of Isaac Newton Academy’s team that made the glowing condom, released a statement explaining, via the Daily Mail, why they created it, stating that they want to protect the next generation.

“We created the S.T.EYE as a new way for STI detection to help the future of the next generation. We wanted to create something that makes detecting harmful STIs safer than ever before, so that people can take immediate action in the privacy of their own homes without the invasive procedures at the doctors. We’ve made sure we’re able to give peace of mind to users and make sure people can be even more responsible than ever before.”
Ali created the glowing prophylactic alongside his friends Musaz Nawaz and Chirag Shah.
And it turns out that the judges at the TeenTech awards were hugely impressed with their invention, as the S.T.EYE won the first prize in the Health Category at the ceremony. This event has been orchestrated to promote science, engineering, and technology in students.
However, despite this impressive state, a spokesperson for TeenTech told MTV News that the trio’s “ideas is very much a concept and is not a finalised design.” But they added that the idea has now been patented, and it is believed that it will ultimately go
