President Buhari has described the late Nigerian Ambassador to the United States as a patriot,whose contributions to the interest of Nigeria were considerable. In a statement issued on Sunday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity;Malam Garba Shehu said the president was shocked by the death of the diplomat.
Buhari who spoke on telephone on Saturday with the wife of the late envoy,who is still in the United States recalled Adefuye's commitments in the course of carrying out his duties,President Buhari said he was in attendance at all his engagements during the July official visit to the United States.
