Imagine seeing a snake on a bus you are in, so creepy. well, this happened in Philadelphia on a bus. Read the full story.
Officials
say an escaped four-foot boa constrictor on a Southeastern Pennsylvania
Transportation Authority bus prompted an emergency evacuation in West
Philadelphia around 3pm on Sunday.
The
snake's owner, 26-year-old Koron Riley, had the three-year-old
reptile, a red tail boa mixed with a Brazilian rainbow boa named
Redz, draped around his neck and hidden under his jacket.
Riley
and Redz were on their way to Monster Pets, but their trip was delayed
because the SEPTA bus had to be evacuated after the $450 snake somehow
got loose and coiled itself under a seat.
A SEPTA
mechanic was able to dismantle the seat, allowing a transit police
officer to retrieve the snake and return it to Riley, who then thanked
the officer with a hug,
The other passengers got on another bus and continued on their way, according to
Riley
said: 'Some people started to freak out because it was a snake on the
bus, and they started talking about snakes on the plane.
'She always stays inside [my pocket], but today she wanted to wander around because she was hungry.' The owner said.
