Mali
after been declared Ebola Free has just recorded its first case of Ebola in a
two years old child whose family has just recently returned from a neighboring
country, Guinea.
Mali’s
health ministry on Friday in Bamako has confirmed the first case of Ebola virus.
The
child was taken to a hospital in the western city of Kayes with possible
symptoms on Wednesday, and sample of her bloody stool tested positive to the
virus.
Mali
will be the 6th country to record Ebola virus case in West Africa, with about
5000 deaths record.
