PDP cancelled Ondo Presidential rally as 48 party Leaders defect to APC

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)in Ondo State might have fallen apart with yesterday’s defection of 48 key members to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Following the development, President Goodluck’s campaign – slated for today in Akure, the state capital, was cancelled.

Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko who is also the Southwest coordinator of the Jonathan campaign, is said to be responsible for the unrest in the PDP state party since he moved from Labour Party to PDP.
