A 26 year old plumber,Semiiu Sanni, was stabbed to dead on Saturday,during the yearly Ojude Oba festival IN Ogun state.
It was reported that the traditional ruler had warned Sanni to stay far from his daughter or face his wrath.while the ojude-oba ceremony was going on, the chief met with Sanni's father, Mr Sakurai Sanni, advicing him to warn his son to stay clear of his daughter.
During the ceremony, the deceased was attacked and stabbed severally on the neck by some members of a rival cult group.
Sanni's death caused quite a pandemonium in the area as some angry villagers invaded the chief's residence,setting his two cars, the building ablaze. Not satisfied, the angry mob further chased the chief and his family members out and set their property ablaze.
